PURR PULL ON

Why is the firewall still in OXIDE? One more colour to go.
When GM Painted these they left the dip in Blackish colour followed by the primer surfacer (RED OXIDE)
Then sealer, then wet rubbed and coloured. Then firewall, boot and plenum chamber inside and a portion of the cowl top directly under the grill panel was painted. Proof coat followed.
